OUR ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM

On behalf of our owners, directors, and staff I would like to introduce you to Home State Bank in Jefferson, Iowa.

Home State Bank was organized by Warren Garst on October 1, 1934. From its inception, Home State Bank was known as an agricultural bank. We have worked hard to offer complete financial services with a strong commitment to our customers and to our community, and have earned the reputation of providing a friendly, confidential and professional atmosphere. The relationships and trust we have built with families over the years have helped make us what we are today.

While providing traditional banking products has been our bread and butter, we are committed to being Your Bank for a Lifetime by advancing our service with technology driven products. Our commitment to customers begins at an early age by supporting financial literacy education in our schools, extends through the income earning years as wealth is accumulated, and into retirement as we assist in the management of wealth through our Investment Center and Trust Department. Our employees are empowered to make decisions that are beneficial to both our customers and the bank without the red tape of committee oversight and approval.

Ownership of Home State Bank today rests in the hands of Warren Garst's daughter, Mary Garst and her daughters, Elizabeth, Rachel, Sarah, Kate, and Jennifer, her son Edward and grandson Rueben. We are as committed today as we have ever been in helping our customers realize their successes and in being a vital contributor to our communities by sharing our time, talent, and resources. Integrity is our foundation and we pledge to work as a team to exceed our customer's expectations.

I invite you to be a customer of Home State Bank and pledge that our team of professionals will do everything in our power to help you enjoy your banking experience.
