Building a successful community takes active partners and contributors. At Home State Bank, our team dives in and contributes time, talents and resources to grow a healthy community. After all...it's our home too.
Paragraph from the President:
For those of you reading this from somewhere in the sunny south, give us a little sympathy! Whether you have been down south or the weather has not been warm enough to come into the bank, stop in when you are able and look at the art work we now have. In addition to some beautiful original pieces from Iowa scenes, we also found out we have an artist on staff! Sue Durlam has shared with us some of her photography that we have enlarged into some incredible scenes of Greene County, many of which you will recognize. In addition, we have a "rotating wall" of art work. On display right now are six paintings by Nancy Thompson of Ames. Her paintings spotlight the Whiterock Conservancy located just south of Coon Rapids, previously the land was owned by the Garst Family. We intend to rotate various collections through this space every two to three months displaying work of both local artists and other Iowa artists. Please stop in when you have time and feel free to ask an employee for an art tour.
